Dr Nadia Tawfiq graduated from dental school in 2003 with distinction. She worked for a year as a senior resident dentist and for three more years in general dental practice, during which she obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Apart from her extensive knowledge in general dentistry, Dr Tawfiq aspired to a more challenging role and gained an extra qualification in Endodontics. She successfully completed her Master’s in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute and passed with a distinction, developed her skills to diagnose the source of pain and detect the presence of cracked teeth. She has a special interest in performing complex and challenging endodontic procedures like treating teeth with complicated root anatomy and re-treating failed endodontically treated teeth with most types of root fillings, pastes and post-removals, as well as performing Surgical Endodontic procedures, using the latest digital technologies including magnification with use of high specification microscope.
She worked as a Specialty Doctor at the Eastman Dental Institute between 2012-2017, and currently, she works in a private practice dedicated to Endodontics.
Passionate about keeping up to date with the latest developments in Endodontics, Dr Tawfiq regularly attends the latest courses and conferences, including the regularly held British Endodontic Society meetings.
